Step 1: Planning And Development
The first step involves surface preparation and Abrasive blasting. Our experts inspect the client for the components to be coated or it can be carried out as a part of our inspection process. they perform surface cleaning and make it free from rust, dirt or any contaminants to ensure good adhesion of the coating. They make use of abrasive materials to remove rust, scale or old coating from the surface of the component.
Step 2: Abrasive Blasting And Priming
After the abrasive blasting, our team creates the surface profile to ensure that the coating adheres properly. We use different abrasive materials with varying sizes and shapes depending on the material to be coated. This process is followed by priming i.e., a primer applied between surface and the top coating in order to prevent corrosion and improve adhesion.
Step 3: Coating And Curing
Third step involves coating the material and curing. After ensuring primer is completely dried. Our team makes use of spray guns, roller or brush to apply the topcoat, and this provides the desired color, finish and durability of the component. Further curing process ensures that the coating has reached its full strength and durability. We At AET perform curing process by air drying or oven baking sometimes we make use of both.
Step 4: Inspection And Maintenance
Finally, our team performs inspection on the coated component and ensures the components coated were free from any defects or imperfections if found they would rework the entire process and the component is put into service.
