Welding

Welding process involves joining metal components and structures to manufacture a product and to join metal components that are exposed to extreme temperatures, pressures, and harsh environments.

Step 1: Planning And Development

First step of welding process involves preparing the components to be welded and selection of appropriate welding procedure. Our team initially cleans the surface to remove rust if any and analyses the edges of the components and calculates that it fits together correctly once welded. They make corrections to the edges before welding if required. Then they choose appropriate welding procedure depending upon the material to be joined, thickness of the component and required strength of weld.

Step 2: Preparation

The welding machine is first positioned and calibrated according to the welding procedure. Our team also checks welding equipment set up that includes welding machine, welding tools and power source before starting the process and carries out the welding process following the procedures and guidelines of chosen welding procedure.

Step 3: Inspection And Testing

Once the welding is complete, trained experts of our team inspects the weld and ensure that it meets the required standards for strength and quality. We make use of Non-destructive testing methods such as X-ray or ultrasonic inspection to check the quality of the weld.

Step 4: Service And Maintenance

In order to ensure the weld remains strong over time we at AET perform stress-relieving as a Post-weld Treatment. Finally, we again inspect the welded component and ensure it meets required specification standards. On clearance of inspection testing process the welded component is installed to the structure in the system.
